Brandon Arce started Dirt Tek in 2019 prior to a move to Bentonville, Arkansas where he started working with the regional trail project management group. There he joined forces with Candice Kozark & Amber Brown. His over 15 years of high-quality trail construction experience combined with their project management skills and trail advocacy experience make a well-rounded team.

Brandon has over 15 years of experience building high-quality mountain bike-optimized trails alongside 30 years of riding. Through his diverse set of opportunities, he has built world-class trails across many states and various countries. Brandon has a reputation for efficient and unique build techniques and a strong work ethic. He spent his early build years focused on gravity, bike park construction. You’ll find many of his unmistakable “Brandon Berms” on trails across the US. Brandon is the trail expert you need to shape your project.

 

Candice Kozark

Candice Kozark has worked in project management and trail project development in Bentonville both professionally and on a volunteer basis. She also has extensive experience in community organizing, trail fundraising, and event production. She served on the board for regional IMBA Club FAST, managed the OZ Trails brand, and produced the Arkansas Enduro Series events from 2019 to 2021 along with various other cycling and community events. Through all of that, she’s developed a wide breadth of understanding of how trail communities work.

 

Amber Brown

Amber Brown has worked in the bike and trail industries for two decades. She began trail building along the Arkansas River and her trail knowledge spans from coast to coast, from towns of a thousand to large urban cores. She has experience in distribution as well as retail and the volunteer and professional side of trail building. Her recent projects include working for the Arkansas Parks & Recreation Foundation to manage the Monument Trail projects at Hobbs, Mt Nebo, Pinnacle Mountain, and Devil’s Den State Parks as well as the River Mountain trail system.

 

Vinnie Dedek

Vinnie Dedek is an Ohio native with a long history of travel and outdoor recreation. After graduating from Ohio University, he found his place in the world of outdoor education where he taught writing and archery classes and maintained campgrounds across multiple summer camps. In his own words, he’s used a rake more than most people have used a toothbrush. Vinnie is excited to join us as a trail crew team member.
