In 2025, Dirt Tek Trails completed Phase III of trail construction at Glade Run Recreation Area, expanding the BLM-managed system with new directional and cross-country options for mountain bikers in the Four Corners region.

Our work added approximately 4.5 miles of trail to the network, including two directional trails, a connector, and a cross-country loop. Built across arid desert terrain with native soil and rock, the trails were constructed using a combination of machine shaping and detailed hand-finishing to ensure flow, stability, and sustainability. Each trail was aligned to work with the natural topography and includes thoughtful drainage features to handle seasonal weather and minimize long-term erosion.

Phase III complements the earlier trail systems by providing new loop options, varied difficulty, and improved connectivity, all while maintaining the land-use standards set forth by the Bureau of Land Management.
