Crafting world-class mountain bike trails.
We design and build purpose-built trails that challenge riders and preserve natural landscapes.
Our work speaks for itself.
From consultation to construction, Dirt Tek Trail projects are built on a foundation of thoughtful design, skilled construction, and a deep understanding of what makes a trail work well. Each project we focus on becomes a reflection of our commitment to overall quality, lasting trails, and the rider experience. We take pride in delivering trails that hold up and perform as beautifully as they ride.
Trail projects that bring flow and fun to communities.
Dirt Tek Trails completed Phase III of trail construction at Glade Run Recreation Area, expanding the BLM-managed system with new directional and cross-country options for mountain bikers in the Four Corners region.
Set against wide mesa views and mixed pine terrain, each descent offers a distinct ride experience. The green trail features smooth rollers and gentle grade reversals, the blue brings flow and speed with intermediate tech, and the black delivers steep, tight turns and natural features for advanced riders.
The two trails Grin & Bear It quickly emerged as rider favorites, offering fast, flowing descents, thoughtful grade reversals, and natural berms that hug the mountain’s contours. Built on land once shaped by coal mining, the Coal Basin project represents a unique intersection of recreation and restoration.
Dirt Tek Trails partnered with RFMBA to create the upper 4 miles of the Crown Royale trail, weaving through scenic aspen groves. Completed in August 2024, the trail blends sustainable flow design with natural terrain, delivering a classic backcountry ride with modern features.
Dirt Tek Trails constructed the advanced “Extraterrestrial” trail at Pend Oreille Pedalers in Sandpoint, Idaho. Finished in May 2024, this 1.8-mile trail features rock drops, woodwork, and technical terrain designed for riders seeking a challenging and unique gravity mountain biking experience.
Our team provided consultation for Spirit Mountain that allowed them to stand out from the competition. One of the new trail concepts reviewed, Dreamland, was later constructed by a local builder and named Favorite Trail of the Year by Loam Pass in its Rider’s Choice Awards.
At Howler Bike Park in Missouri, Dirt Tek Trails delivered Stroller Coaster, the Park’s premier beginner level gravity trail. Completed in May 2022, the project features progressive jump lines and machine-built flow, raising the bar for downhill riding in the Midwest.
Dirt Tek Trails created a design plan for a proposed system in Boxley Valley. Completed in March 2022, the project blends challenging design, natural terrain flow, and rider-focused features.
Brandon Arce, owner of Dirt Tek Trails contributed to the park’s renowned network by constructing Turbo Diesel—a fast, flowy intermediate trail that delivers machine-built rhythm and modern trail feel.
